Through a continuum of services such as daily meals, emergency shelter, supportive housing, and case management, Good Shepherd works to meet people where they are and guide them toward lasting change. Their work not only addresses immediate needs, but also lays the foundation for long-term recovery, dignity, and hope.
Mary S. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship
The Mary S. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of a dedicated educator by investing in the future of young learners. Each year, the organization hosts a community bookbag drive, providing local students with backpacks filled with essential school supplies. These efforts ensure that children start the school year equipped and confident, ready to thrive in the classroom. In addition to the annual drive, the organization awards scholarships to deserving students, helping to ease the financial burden of higher education. These meaningful efforts are made possible through the generosity of local businesses and individuals who believe in the power of education to change lives.
