Paralegal

I moved from Asheville, North Carolina, bringing with me valuable experience in paralegal work and a strong passion for serving others. I spent two years at a firm in Asheville where I focused on business litigation, personal injury, traffic violations, workers compensation, and wrongful death cases. This experience allowed me to develop strong skills in supporting clients through the legal process.

Community involvement has always been incredibly important to me. I truly love being active and engaged in the communities I am part of and finding meaningful ways to give back. I served as a Guardian Ad Litem for approximately three years, advocating for children involved in the court system and ensuring their voices were heard. I also volunteered for two years with Pisgah Legal Services in Asheville, where I worked as an office administrator helping provide access to legal resources for individuals and families in need. Being able to support others both professionally and personally is something I deeply value.

At Flexner Houser Injury Law, I work as a paralegal supporting attorneys and guiding clients through the legal process. A paralegal assists with case preparation, communicates with clients and insurance companies, gathers and organizes important documents, drafts legal correspondence, and helps ensure cases move forward efficiently. I take pride in staying organized, meeting deadlines, and helping clients feel informed and supported during what can often be a stressful time.

Outside of the office, I love the outdoors. I enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, and hiking. Though I now live at the beach, my heart still appreciates the mountains and I truly embrace the mountains to sea lifestyle.

Fun Facts

I recently took my exam to become a certified beekeeper, combining my love of nature with a new and exciting skill.

I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes for friends and family. Some experiments turn out amazing and some are, well, let’s just say they keep everyone on their toes.
