Jodi DeLuca
Certified Paralegal
In the early chapters of my career I was employed by State Farm and obtained licenses in Property & Casualty, Life & Health, and Long-Term Care. Little did I know at the time that these years of experience would play a vital role in my career transition and enable me to be a valuable asset as an employee.
Around 2003, discontent with insurance company practices, I changed careers by becoming a paralegal and obtained NC State Bar paralegal certification based on experience within three years. I have been a certified paralegal ever since, and I love my job!
In my job I have the joy of meeting new people and executing my superpower which is creating lasting professional relationships with both our clients and the organizations we are in contact with on behalf of our clients. I find satisfaction in reassuring our clients that things will be okay, and I strive to provide solutions to set their minds at ease.
A native Wilmingtonian, I grew up riding horses and now, later in life, enjoy a bit of sailing with my family. Trips to the Outer Banks, with a special liking for Cape Lookout, are some of my family’s trip highlights. Most days I enjoy spending my evenings and weekends cooking, gardening, and spending time with family.
