Our Team

Diane Belmont

Office Manager

I joined the team with years of experience working for nonprofits and the government, and that experience has been beneficial, but working in a law office is a whole new world! Every day there is something new to learn or to do. It’s never boring! This job has challenged me in so many ways, and most days I leave work feeling incredibly accomplished about all I was able to do for the office and our clients.

When I am preparing paperwork or filing important documents for a client’s case, I learn as much as I can about each one. There are so many stories that come through our doors and each one is unique in their needs and expectations. Getting to know our clients gives me a chance to customize my service to anticipate a better outcome for them.

Although much of what I do remains behind the scenes, I keep the office at Flexner Houser Injury Law running efficiently and smoothly. I believe it is the combination of my passion for people, expertise in data management, and drive for problem-solving that provides an extra layer of support for every case.

When I am not working, I can usually be found with a book at one of several favorite bookshop spots and chill environments that I like to visit. I enjoy immersing myself in other worlds while being surrounded by cozy environments.

My love for reading has led me to be a Silver Literacy Trust Member of the Cape Fear Literacy Council. Their events and programs serve our community, enhance quality of life, and create lasting connections. I am proud to support this local nonprofit and all the good they are doing in Wilmington and the surrounding areas.
However, even a voracious reader like myself enjoys making her own adventures. Whether its spending time on the water, trying a new dish at a local restaurant, or hosting friends and family for the weekend, there is plenty to do in beautiful Wilmington and I count myself so lucky to be part of this community.
I hold a BA in Theatre Arts, Production from Liberty University, a Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management from UNC-Chapel Hill, and I have over a decade of experience in nonprofit work.
